Riga 1. Distance Education High School was my only and last chance to obtain secondary education and find an opportunity to continue my studies in order to finally get out of making the minimum wage. Otherwise, working and bringing up my three children, it would not be possible. Quality teaching materials, easy to understand e- learning environment, profound teacher comments on test evaluations, school administration’s interest help in both e-mail correspondence and phone calls - all this helped to motivate me to study, which, was not as simple as it seemed. The consultation and exam time was definitely rather emotional and stressful, a hearty graduation ceremony and lots of new friendships created- all of this was hard to imagine when I first started my studies. Now, while listening to my adventures, a couple of my friends and colleagues who stopped midway through obtaining secondary education, have now become interested. Sincere, thank you for everything!

Riga 1. Distance Education High School is a great opportunity for young mothers to fulfill their dream and complete unfinished things. A great way to combine caring for a child and schooling. My daughter is very proud about her mother's achievements and the time we got to spend together! School staff is amazing and responsive! The attention that the principal and her assistants give to each student helps them, to realize that they can do anything, and I am very grateful to them for it!

It was not as difficult as it may look at first... You just have to get the courage and come to Riga 1. Distance Education High School, and with the help of teachers you will be able to do it! To me it also seemed as an unattainable goal, but now that I have graduated I understand that obtaining secondary education is something you can also achieve!
