Changing to a distance-learning school during the school year

Start a transfer to R1TV with an application and the education records you already have. Ask the school to assess your circumstances and explain the next steps. Agree the admission process and intended start date before leaving your current school.

Prepare for the first conversation

Tell the school your current grade, previous school, language of study and reason for transferring. If you paused your education, explain which grade you completed.

Review documents and previous learning

Use the required-documents list to prepare your records. Ask the administration about any missing documents, how previous subjects will be assessed and what work remains.

Agree dates and payments

Confirm your study start date, assessment deadlines, consultations and examination preparation. Compare the annual fee and the contractual payment schedule with your budget.

Your first week

After admission, check eSkola access, open the materials and note the next deadlines. For a minor, agree how a parent or guardian will help monitor progress.
